At Blowy, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This policy outlines your rights under consumer law and our additional return options.
Australian Consumer Law & New Zealand Consumer Guarantees
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
For New Zealand customers: Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 are not affected by this policy.
What is a Major Failure?
A major failure occurs when:
- The product is significantly different from description or sample
- The product is substantially unfit for its normal purpose
- The product is not fit for a specific purpose you told us about
- The product is unsafe
Your Return Options
1. Faulty or Damaged Products
If your blowy handheld blower is faulty, damaged, or not as described:
- Timeframe: No time limit for genuine faults
- Resolution: Full refund, replacement, or repair (your choice for major failures)
- Shipping: We cover all return shipping costs
- Process: Contact us with photos/description of the issue
2. Change of Mind Returns
We offer a generous 30-day change-of-mind return policy:
- Timeframe: 30 days from delivery
- Condition: Item must be unused and undamaged (original packaging not required)
- Refund: Full refund minus original shipping cost
- Restocking fee: None - we don't charge restocking fees
- Shipping: Customer pays return shipping
- What we check: Product hasn't been used and has no damage
3. Industry-Leading 3 Year Warranty
Your Blowy Handheld Blower includes:
- Statutory guarantees under ACL (in addition to warranty)

3-year warranty from purchase date covering:
- Manufacturing defects
- Premature motor failure
- Battery degradation beyond normal wear
- Faulty buttons or controls
- What's not covered: Damage from misuse, accidents, or normal wear and tear
How to Return an Item
Step 1: Contact Us
Email us at info@blowy.com.au with:
- Your order number
- Reason for return
- Photos (if product is faulty/damaged)
Step 2: Receive Return Authorization
We'll respond within 24 business hours with:
- Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
- Return shipping instructions
- Prepaid label (for warranty/faulty items only)
Step 3: Ship Your Return
- Package item securely (any safe packaging is fine)
- Include all accessories that came with the product
- Write RMA number clearly on outside of package
- Ship to: blowy Returns

Step 4: Receive Your Refund
- Inspection: We'll inspect items within 2 business days of receipt
- Processing: Refunds processed within 5 business days of approval
- Method: Refunded to original payment method
- Timeframe: Allow 5-10 business days for funds to appear
What Condition Must Returns Be In?
For Change of Mind Returns:
- ✓ Acceptable: Missing original box/packaging
- ✓ Acceptable: Opened to inspect but not used
- ✗ Not Acceptable: Signs of use (dust, debris, scratches)
- ✗ Not Acceptable: Missing accessories or parts
- ✗ Not Acceptable: Customer-caused damage
For Warranty Claims:
- Normal signs of use are expected and acceptable
- We just need the product and description of the fault
Exclusions
We cannot accept returns for:
- Items damaged through misuse, accident, or negligence
- Items modified or repaired by anyone other than us
- Products with removed or tampered serial numbers
- Items showing clear signs of use (for change-of-mind returns)
- Items not purchased directly from blowy.com.au
Damaged in Transit
If your order arrives damaged:
- Do not discard packaging
- Take photos of damaged box and product
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- We'll arrange replacement or full refund immediately
International Returns
For orders shipped outside Australia/New Zealand:
- Customer pays all return shipping and customs fees
- We recommend using tracked, insured shipping
- Additional fees or duties are customer's responsibility
Making a Warranty Claim
During your 3-year warranty period:
- Email info@blowy.com.au with description of the issue
- Include proof of purchase and photos/video if possible
- We'll provide troubleshooting steps (if applicable)
- If unresolved, we'll provide prepaid return shipping
- Upon inspection, we'll repair, replace, or refund
